Average days from invoice date to payment. Median invoice $2,350. Only accounts with at least 10 paid invoices before and after are included.
Reminders go out on the days you choose
Pick the days, edit the wording and choose which clients get which schedule. Reminders send from your own Gmail or Outlook address, so replies land in your inbox, and they stop as soon as a client pays or writes back.
What your client sees when they open an invoice
One page with your logo, every open invoice for that client and the ways they can pay. Clients don’t need an account or a password.

When we started we had $31,000 sitting more than 30 days past due. By June it was under $6,000, and I hadn’t written a single follow-up email myself. The reminders go out in our words, from my address, so clients reply to me like they always did. My one wish is a phone preview in the email editor.

We bill in pounds, euros and dollars, and Dunwell handles all three. Bank transfers only work for US clients so far, so our European clients still pay by card.

We text the payment link when the job’s done. About half our invoices are paid the same day now, mostly by card before the van leaves.

I run Dunwell for 14 clients from one login. Each setup took about 20 minutes, mostly copying their QuickBooks settings across. Support answered every question I sent the same morning.

Questions before you switch
Something else on your mind? Email hello@dunwell.com and a person from the team replies within one business day.
Will reminders make my clients feel hounded?
The default emails are short and polite, and you can rewrite every one of them. Most customers keep the first late reminder friendly and only mention late fees in the 14-day email. You can also switch reminders off for a client you’d rather call.
Do my clients need an account to pay?
No. They open the link in the email, see every open invoice from you, and pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or bank transfer.
Can I keep using QuickBooks or Xero?
Yes, and most customers do. Customers, invoices and payments sync both ways every 15 minutes, so your bookkeeper keeps working where they already work.
What happens when a client pays part of an invoice?
Dunwell records the payment, updates the balance and keeps reminding them about the rest. If you agreed a payment plan, reminders follow the plan dates instead.
How fast does the money reach my bank?
Two business days after the payment clears. Card payments clear straight away. A bank transfer (ACH) takes 3 to 4 business days to clear first.
Do you send unpaid invoices to collections?
No. After the last reminder Dunwell stops and puts the invoice on your Needs attention list with its full history. What happens next is your call.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. Cancel from Settings and you won’t be charged again. You can export every invoice, payment and client as CSV or PDF, and we keep your data for 90 days after you cancel before deleting it.
